A scarce 'crackle-finish' version of the NSFK flyer's knife. The NSFK Flyer's Knife with satin-aluminium mounts throughout, and with the grip and scabbard shell finished in a blue painted metal crackle finish. The lower winged-shape crossguard with black enamel swastikas. The blade complete with full maker-name, and logo.
The blue, crackle finish scabbard with its original leather hanging strap with satin-aluminium spring clip. The knife still with its original black leather 'D' ring with pebble aluminium construction. The throat to the upper-mount stamped with the NSFK logo.
Condition report: The NSFK Flyer's Knife remaining in close to mint condition overall. The blue crackle finish grip and scabbard free from any damage and complete with 99% of the blue painted finish. The satin-aluminium mounts remaining clean and bright, only the spring clip shows some signs of use. The blade with 95% polish and crossgrain remaining. Just the very slightest greying by the tip.
Provenance: Sold together with a Thomas Wittmann certificate dated 2015. Mitchell collection from 2015 until consigned to ULRIC of ENGLAND.
